Tsukuba municipal city prepares the booklet “Living in Tsukuba(English)”“生活在筑波(Chinese)” which is a guide book for foreign residences. You can get the booklet at Tsukuba City Center near Tsukuba Gakuen Station and at Tsukuba Science Information Center in Tsukuba Center Building near Tsukuba Station. Living in Tsukuba will be updated in November 2021. We will replace to new one as soon as we have.
Search for a Doctor
IBARAKI INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION, public corporation, maintains a database called “Search for a doctor” which gives you information about medical doctors who can treat with foreign language.
Let’s go to https://www.qq.pref.ibaraki.jp/, then click “Search for a doctor” top right on the screen. Now you are in “Search for a doctor, then select “TSUKUBASHI” as your aria. After that you can see options in the page, then select “options” that you want to know and press “search” at last. You can see doctor’s list who can speak your language with detailed information.

Let’s go to https://www.city.tsukuba.lg.jp/ which is the top page of Multilingual Services at Tsukuba City HP. Then click “English, 中文, 한국어 or やさしい日本語”, you can see the Homepage which are translated to your favorite language. The translation is not perfect; however, it might be enough for you to understand the essence of the HP.

Tsukuba International Association HP
TIA hold Japanese conversation classes for the foreign residents of Tsukuba and their families (the course is also available for people who work at Tsukuba).
TIA registered volunteer 'Daily Life Supporters' provide advice and assistance with small problems and difficulties in your everyday life.
